Head coach Willie Desjardins didn't reveal too much about the injuries after the game saying "Bieksa is going to get looked at" and Sestito "might be a couple of days." The Bieksa injury isn't believed to be serious, but Sestito was seen leaving the building on crutches.

At the end of a bitter bad-blood battle, the Kings would claim a 1-0 victory, but this wasn’t about the points or the fact the Kings have four regular-season wins over the Canucks for the first time in 23 years. It was about making a point and maintaining a resilient collective mindset that Tortorella has been drilling into his troops.
“I thought we did a real good job as far as deciding that’s our ice also,” said Tortorella. “It’s been a minus in our game. We got squat for points but we crossed a couple of bridges in what needs to be done.”
... How Sestito wound up with two minutes for instigating, five minutes for fighting, 10 minutes for instigating and a game misconduct had the Canucks scratching their heads.

from Joe Haggerty of CSNNE,
It seemed as if Nathan Horton had just escaped the fog of last year’s concussion issues, but now he might be right back in the darkness after a reckless hit from a Flyers thug.
The Bruins right wing was held out of the third period and overtime of Sunday’s 6-5 shootout win over the Philadelphia Flyers after being on the receiving end of a blindside Tom Sestito shoulder to the head. The contact with Horton came in the second period well after the puck had left his possession, and should mean that Sestito – playing in his first NHL game since Dec. 23 after being called back up from the minors – will be hearing from the league offices in the next few days.
Sestito has already been suspended twice this season: once for two games during the preseason on a hit from behind and another five-game suspension in the AHL for “an illegal check to the head of an opponent.”...
“There was a blindside hit on Horton. [The Washington game] is two days away, so we’ll see,” said Bruins head coach Claude Julien. “I haven’t had a chance to talk to our trainers or even get a doctor’s report to see how severe it is right now. I guess we’ll find out in the next few days here, but certainly [the doctors] didn’t allow him to come back in this game.”
Update: From Haggerty on Twitter, here’s a video of the hit:
Philadelphia Flyers forward Tom Sestito has been suspended for the remainder of the pre-season as well as two regular season games for an illegal check in a pre-season game.
The Flyers have two games remaining in the pre-season.
Midway through the first period of Monday’s home contest against the New York Rangers, Sestito hit Rangers forward Andre Deveaux from behind into the boards of the Wells Fargo Centre.
Note: Video of the incident in question can be found at this earlier KK post.
added 6:01pm. Shanahan explains the suspension below…
Sestito received five for boarding, five for fighting a ten and a game misconduct.
First we have the Rangers broadcast video and below, watch the Flyers broadcast of the hit.
