The Chicago Blackhawks reached agreement with young forward Michael Frolik on a three-year deal and signed unrestricted free agent Sami Lepisto to a one-year pact….
Frolik’s numbers in 2010-11 took a dip from his first two seasons, as he finished with 11 goals and 27 assists in 80 games.
Frolik scored 42 goals in his first two seasons with the Panthers, including 16 power-play markers.
The Kladno, Czech Republic native was selected 10th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by Florida.
The club did not release financial details, although multiple reports suggest it will average to just over $2 million US per year.

(GLENDALE, ARIZONA) -- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today the Coyotes have acquired defenseman Rostislav Klesla (RAHS-tih-slav, KLEHS-luh) and forward Dane Byers from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for forward Scottie Upshall and defenseman Sami Lepisto.
GLENDALE, ARIZONA—Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have re-signed defenseman Sami Lepisto to a one-year contract. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Lepisto, 25, recorded a career-high 1-10-11 and 60 penalty minutes (PIM) in 66 games with the Coyotes last season. He also collected one assist and six penalty minutes in seven playoff games last year.
