Paul Maurice Will Coach In The KHL

Magnitogorsk of the KHL has hired longtime NHL coach Paul Maurice as their next head coach.

Maurice joins Magnitogorsk after a 15-year head coaching career in the NHL with the Carolina Hurricanes, Toronto Maple Leafs and Hartford Whalers. 

Former Hurricanes goalie coach Tom Barrasso will also join Maurice on the Magnitogorsk bench as an assistant coach.

A Day Late and a Dollar Short… Happy Birthday Geno!

How selfish of me.

I spent the last week enjoying all that the summer has to offer, taking in several different concerts in and around the Pittsburgh area such as Exodus, Slayer, Rob Zombie, Motley Crue, Poison, U2, Kingdom of Sorrow, Megadeth, Godsmack, Disturbed and even managed to give Dave Mustaine a Penguins jersey in the process (but that will be a story for another day).
