Well HockeyFest 2011 has come and gone. Nether myself, nor my assistant for the day, my good friend Mike, lasted the entire event, as we were both exhausted by 3PM. So, after I got home around 4PM, I passed out until about 11:30PM. Then I woke up and started sorting through all of the media I had gotten, which took a few hours in itself.

Alright citizens of Hockeytown, it’s time to start getting exciting for Saturday’s upcoming HockeyFest! As well as my plans for coverage of said event. Anyway, do continue reading on to hear all the details about the many fun and exciting events going on this Saturday at the Joe Louis Arena.
I’m extremely excited to announce the news that I’ll be covering the 2011 edition of HockeyFest, down at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit on September 10th. This is due to the fact that George will be up in Traverse City at the time to cover the Wings’ prospect tournament, as well as main training camp to follow.
