WJC Outdraws HNIC

Hockey Night in Canada belongs to the CBC, but last Saturday, TSN owned hockey in Canada. The sports channel drew 1.411 million viewers for the Canada-United States showdown at the world junior hockey championship in Vancouver. That was a record for a round-robin world junior matchup. What's more, the TSN audience was better than double the 612,000 who tuned in to watch the Hockey Night telecast of the Toronto Maple Leafs-New Jersey Devils game.
