Canada vs. Finland (6 p.m. ET) -- The winner will earn the top seed in Group A. Forward Mason McTavish (Anaheim Ducks) leads the tournament with 10 points (six goals, four assists) in three games and linemate Connor Bedard, the projected No. 1 pick in the 2023 NHL Draft, has five points (two goals, three assists), including a point in all three games, for Canada (3-0-0-0). "I think our overall game is getting better and that's the goal," McTavish said. "Especially in a short tournament, getting better every game is the key." Finland (2-1-0-0) went 5-for-7 on the power play in a 9-3 win against Slovakia on Sunday. Joel Maatta (Edmonton Oilers) and Kasper Simontaival (Los Angeles Kings) each scored two goals in the victory. Finland leads the tournament with a 61.5 percent power-play efficiency (8-for-13). "I think we're ready but it's going to be a big challenge for us," Finland coach Antii Pennanen said. "Obviously we need to keep the puck for sure because that's to our strength." Finland, which finished third at the 2021 WJC, last won the World Juniors in 2019.
Sweden vs. Germany (10 p.m. ET) -- The winner will finish second in Group B.
