Wings Expect Kronwall Improvement

"(Kronwall) really struggled when he came back," Wings GM Ken Holland said. "I thought in the Edmonton series he was starting to get a little more comfortable." The Wings are expecting a healthy Kronwall to be a leader and top-four defenseman this season. "He's a young player we're going to build around," Holland said. "I think he could have a breakout year.... Kronwall would like to prove Holland right. "I'm excited to have a chance to prove to myself and everyone else that I can play a whole season without getting hurt," he said. "This is a big year for me — a contract year. "I'm just tired of getting injured all the time," he added. "I just want to go out there and play some hockey."
