Win And They Will Come

from Red Fisher of the Montreal Gazette via Canada.com,
On the other hand, I find it hard to agree with my pal Gary Bettman's view that "it's too early to be concerned about attendance around the league. It's a little premature two to three weeks into the season to be writing attendance stories," the commish told Los Angeles Times hockey writer Chris Foster. The reason for the lagging attendance was that "the schedule was a little different." Say what? A lot of things have changed in the new My NHL, but the constant has been that lagging attendance never has had anything to do with the schedule being "a little different." All you have to do is win.
