Kukla's Korner Hockey

from the Mercury News,
Ron Wilson has not been hesitant to criticize Marleau - usually indirectly in postgame remarks about his line or vague “players” who weren’t sharp. Marleau has kept his mouth shut publicly about that. But he has to be gurgling inside after some of those remarks.
Here’s the truth: Marleau and Ron Wilson are the Lennon and McCartney of the Sharks. If this team is going to make sweet postseason music, it needs them to collaborate. Otherwise, our beloved Los Tiburones are going to drop off the charts faster than Vanilla Ice did. Right now, Doug Wilson seems inclined to let Marleau and his coach work out their issues as mature adults should. Keep an eye on that. If their relationship doesn’t lose its obvious sour taste, there could be a new recipe. With new ingredients.
