Williams Locked-Up By Canes

Justin Williams picked the perfect time to have a breakout season. After setting career highs in all major scoring categories and helping the Carolina Hurricanes to their first Stanley Cup, Williams was rewarded Friday with a $17.5-million US, five-year contract.
update 5:36pm, from the Carolina Hurricanes,
Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has signed defenseman Niclas Wallin to a four-year contract. The deal will pay Wallin $1.725 million per year.
