Will Brad Marchand Change?

from Kevin Paul Dupont of the Boston Globe,
“Some things I’ve done clearly need some fixing,” said Marchand, who will turn 30 years old Friday. “So I think that’s going to be the biggest thing that I take away from what’s happened the last few days — to actually take a look and really understand these things have much bigger consequences.”
Short on temper, but long on offensive production (a team-high 34-51—85 this season), Marchand became the talk of the playoffs for all the wrong reasons.
He sincerely sounded like he regrets it all, so much so that it sounded as if he had been admonished by club management.

Will Brad Marchand Change?
Yup, he will. Just like he “changed” at the beginning of this season. That change will last for a month or two, and then he’ll find some new way to embarrass his team. I’d say “embarrass himself,” but I don’t think he’s capable of being embarrassed.
A douche bag is a douche bag. They don’t change because they can’t change. It’s just who they are.

The best part has been Marchand’s actions becoming an international joke. Nice way off embarassing yourself, your teammates and the Bruins organization.
Management should tell him he needs to see a therapist, plain and simple.
