Things got rough when Cal Clutterbuck received 2 for boarding late in the 2nd period.

When a team gets out of control like that, the officials have to shut it down.  The way to do that is to call the team that is offending (Wild) and, even if a penalty is deserved, nothing on the other team.  The coaches will eventually get the message and call off the crap.

Warren Peters should get a long suspension for that garbage.

wow. goonery to the Nth degree. even IF Backes had boarded the guy as it appeared he may have, a stick to the head is absolutely never called for in retaliation.

8-10 game suspension in my opinion. if they’re giving 5 for headshots, which are generally the result of overzealous checks taking place between the whistles, an intentional stick to the head on a play stoppage is a much worse offense
