Who Leaves New Jersey

from the NY Post,
Barring another long-term injury to someone, the time is approaching when Devils GM Lou Lamoriello must make what surely will be a painful decision, both by reputation and financially. When Patrik Elias returns, probably next month, Lamoriello must shed some $3.3 million, or more, in salary to remain under the $39 million salary cap. That figure makes either Mogilny or Malakhov a likely candidate to go. Mogilny was signed for two years at $3.5 million per; Malakhov for two years at $3.6 million per. And if the cap drops to some $36 million next season, that's all the more reason to act now.
