While I agree with you in principle, Goodell is shaping up to be a contender for Bettman’s “worst commish imaginable” title and his chief attributes are overwhelming hubris and a complete lack of accountability.
I think it’s a trick question. It’s probably option c, someone more reasonable than either, like, say, Tim Thomas, or the villain from Sudden Death.
