Who Said It?

I loved all the teams. The ‘84 Tigers, and of course the Pistons before I left. I was always a Red Wings fan. Stevie Y came in and I became a big Yzerman fan. It’s been tough over the years. I played a lot in the west so I got my butt kicked by the Wings quite a bit. That love wore off. But I love the sports town. Still wearing my Lions hat. I don't know how long I can do that, but I still battle, still root for them too.

Who said it?  A good Q & A too.

Ahhh, good guy. He was amazing to watch up here when he played for Lake State. Still see him around town once in a while in the summer.

Called it!  (It was a guess, though).

My wife and I met his godparents in the mid-oughts while flying out of the GR airport.  I lamented LSSU’s hockey acumen at a time when my Huskies were stinkin’ up the WCHA (but at least LSSU was another UP hockey school I didn’t totally hate).

Ah. Good Harper Woods Notre Dame alumni. Another was John Blum. Glad to see him doing well in life after playing.
