Will you tell the announcers on NHL Network to please not talk over player selections during Rounds 2 and onward? It was very annoying last year to not be able to hear selections of our junior players because the announcers were going on and on about & interviewing previously-selected players ... do the talking and interviewing during the down times and be quiet just for the actual selections!!! Thank you!

Humm, I guess Im a moron and cant read the notes…

Pick 55—San Jose assigned a compensatory pick; did not sign 2007 1st-round pick (25th overall), C Patrick White.

Yet, that didnt explain much
How come they get an imaginary pick from no other team? Compensatory pick from the league itself?
Doesnt make much sense to me…

Has there been any compensatory picks in the recent pass besides the Rangers (death of Cherepanov) and Phoenix (losing Blake Wheeler to FA)? Will the Ducks get one next year due to losing Schultz or is it just for first round picks?
