Where Is McKee

Paul Hamilton arrived in Raleigh Wednesday night and immediately went to work on the hot rumor about Sabres defenseman Jay McKee. Our Sabres beat reporter found out that he was not with the team Wednesday night in Carolina. Sabres team spokesman Mike Gilbert said he is "sick, but it is possible that he can come join the team for game 7."

A team spokesman said McKee is "sick, but it is possible that he can come join the team for Game 7." McKee did not join the team as they flew to Carolina Wednesday. McKee's agent Pat Morris adds that he will try make the trip to join the team in Carolina today, but his game status it still unclear.
