What To Do With Foppa

The Flyers claim they want to re-sign him and there are rumblings the team will approach Forsberg’s tight-lipped Winnipeg agent Don Baizley about that possibility over the all-star game.
Doubtless they will be looking for a considerable discount over Forsberg’s current $5.75-million-US deal and regardless of where the Swede plays next year—assuming he does—it will be at a discount.
But Forsberg doesn’t much care about money at this stage of his career anyway and he feels like he’s ripped off Philly a little by missing so many games.
