...the market for goaltenders may now be tepid-to-lukewarm for the final hours leading up to Thursday's mid-day trading deadline. Unless the Coyotes drop the asking price for Joseph, he probably isn't going anywhere. Long-term, Noronen could be a good acquisition for a lot of teams, but he has just 189 minutes of NHL action to his credit this season (plus, a short conditioning stint with the Sabres' minor-league affiliate in Rochester this past week). For a team such as Edmonton, which wanted to stabilize its goaltending position with a view to going deep into the playoffs, moving on someone like Noronen was just too risky a proposition.
