What Do The Blues Do Now?

Down 0-2 as they head to Los Angeles.

Scoring has become a problem and they 0-for on the power play this series too.

The Kings on the other hand, just need to keep doing what they have been.  Don’t get too fancy or think you have the game won before hitting the ice.

Watch the highlights of the 5-2 win tonight.

If you are thinking a goalie change for the Blues, forget it, Hitchcock said post-game Halak is out for the rest of the series.

I am a Kings fan. But the Blues are not done here. Their problem is that the Kings have taken them away from their game. The Kings are forechecking, the Kings are getting to the loose pucks, the Kings are making the Blues make mistakes. Additionally, the Blues are losing their composure. Sure the hit on Pietrangelo was not pretty - not suspendable - but not pretty. Crombeen fought King and that should have been the end of it. Instead, the Blues have been taking unnecessary shots - extra hits - etc which is taking them further away from their game.  this is not Blues hockey and they need to get back to what got them here or it will be a quick series with them brushing off the golf shoes.

Some of the high scores in the west are great, in that they remove the influences of bad officiating from the result.

The Blues should try playing hockey.

how surprising that a Wings fan is complaining about officiating. I hate to tell you but it wasn’t the Zetterberg head bashing that got you guys bounced: it was your slow, ancient D-men who are routinely out of position, puck-gazing drones who left an injured Howard out to dry. Not to mention the lack of any physical presence that you guys know all too well is essential in the playoffs. But, sure, go ahead, keep complaining about the refs. Every team has been affected by it - except other teams actually lost players for games due to injuries, not just bruised egos.

I guess lacerated wrist tendons are the same as bruised egos, huh.

Good to know.
