What Are Season Ticket Holders Doing?

USA TODAY Sports asked season ticketholders whether they would seek a refund of their money for canceled games or would keep their ticket money with the team and earn interest. Here is what some of them said:
Ryan Maloney, Chicago: "We are taking a refund. We pay for a service and they aren't providing it. Plus, owners are getting their TV money and any dent, small, we can provide, I hope this sends a message. Hockey is barely considered a major sport and greed and complete idiocy continues to prevail. It's pathetic, sad, and maddening."
Shaun Younge, Calgary: "As a Calgary Flames season ticketholder I feel very fortunate for the respect shown by ownership towards its fan base. We have already been notified of the 3% interest we will be afforded for any canceled games. In addition, we have also received two other communications of FAQs regarding the negotiation process, and regular team/fan functions continue to take place regardless of the work stoppage....

one of the flyers beat writers tweeted yesterday flyers only lost 5 season ticket holders with 18k plus holding on. the reason why people arent dropping their season tickets because teams like flyers are offering the season ticket holders very good interest on tickets.
