Wear A Visor, Save An Eye

"Each All-Star break, all the doctors get together," said Peters, who usually has to treat three to five serious eye injuries a season. "As eye docs, the biggest thing we talk about is, how can we talk these guys into wearing visors? We're all real frustrated from the standpoint of saving these guys' vision." The NHL has changed its rules, added a salary cap and moved forward from a debilitating lockout, but, when it comes to eye protection, the league and its players have largely chosen to remain in the dark ages.
