We Have A Series!

Finally we have a series we can dig our teeth into.

The New Jersey Devils defeated the New York Rangers 4-1 to even the series at two.  Game 5 on Wednesday night should be fun to watch.

This flare-up, first between the players then the coaches, should add some fuel to the fire for Wednesday’s game.

Both coaches downplayed the incident between them.

DeBoer said not about us, it is about the players and Tortorella said he was not going to answer any questions about it.

Intense game! Loved every minute of it—of course, my team was winning & did win—but what the hell was up with Mike Rupp throwing that silly punch? Crazy, if you ask me. I know every game that’s left is going to be balls to the wall. I think we can count on these two teams to make it so. But the coaches really need to get over themselves. Enough already.

Also, two more cents: where are Gaborik & Elias? Inquiring minds wanna know…

That wasn’t much of a “punch.” A slight shove if anything, which Marty sold to the refs.

Marty has become a complainer since they put in trapaziod. After he complain about JVR taking his stick away in game 1 and said that their should of been an goaltender interferce call, well it work, in Game 3 when they took Briere’s goal on the same exact play that basically change that series.
