The regression that tough power forwards like Simmonds seem to experience by their late twenties is something else.
At least they won’t be saddled with him and they may even
benefit if he can manage to get and stay healthy and bounce back one time.
Good leader. A bit of protection for the skilled young guys.
Looks like some teams are learning: you can gamble a bit with salary when you have plenty of cap space, but not with term. Even RFAs are getting paid and you’ll get stuck spending a #1 pick just to have room to re-sign them.
