Watching Versus

VERSUS, the U.S. national cable television home of the NHL, garnered top ratings for Game 4 of the Buffalo Sabres-New York Rangers series on Tuesday, May 1 according to Nielson Media Research and VERSUS.
Among the highlights:

* The game received a .7 national HH rating and brought in a 24.8 rating in the Buffalo market and a 1.5 rating in the New York market.
* It was the most-watched NHL postseason game ever on VERSUS among Men 18-34.
* VERSUS was the highest rated network in the Buffalo market from 7 - 9:45 p.m. Fox ranked 2nd with a 12.4 average rating for the time period.
* The New York market rating was up 36% from Game 1 on VERSUS (April 25, 1.1). This was the best rating ever for an NHL telecast on VERSUS in the New York market.
