Washington Signs Clark To 3yr Extension

The Washington Capitals have signed right wing and team captain Chris Clark to a three-year contract extension through the 2010-11 season, vice president and general manager George McPhee announced today. In keeping with club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Chris is a consummate professional and a terrific leader,” said vice president and general manager George McPhee. “He has been an integral part of our team’s growth in the past two seasons, both on and off the ice. We are excited that he will be a Washington Capital for many years to come.”
