Lubomir Visnovsky has filed a grievance through the NHLPA to void his trade to #Isles, claiming his no-trade clause is still valid.

There’s a pretty strong argument that Visnovsky waiting this long to file is going to work against him.
There’s another argument that Visnovsky choosing not to invoke his NTC when he was dealt from Edmonton to Anaheim was the same as him waiving it (like Dany Heatley waived his to get out of Ottawa and then didn’t get a choice when San Jose sent him to Minnesota).
I’m wondering if Visnovsky may have been put up to this in order to drive conversation towards ironing out specifically how NTCs are going to work in the future?
