Videos- No Goal For Henrik Sedin And Martin Hanzal A Cross-Checking Machine

01/17/2014 at 8:57am EST

Henrik Sedin tried to do a good sell job with the goal celebration, but no goal, which would have been the only goal Vancouver would have scored in a 1-0 loss to Phoenix.

Martin Hanzal was a one-man cross-checking machine last night..

If Paul Devorski could have put on a uniform this week, I picture him playing like Martin Hanzal did in Phoenix.

Hanzal wiped out Henrik Sedin, Mike Santorelli, David Booth, the Green Men, the Boat Party and the power play, all with cross checks.

It was a helluva run. If he did that in a Canucks jersey in Anaheim, he’d probably have been nailed with 49 minutes in penalties, including a couple of seven-minute power plays in the bunch.
