Ducks had pulled their goalie to to try to tie-up the game. At the end of the video, Perry shows his frustration.
The goal was awarded to Tom Gilbert (closest to the puck) although some people were hoping Oilers goaltender Devan Dubnyk would get credit for the goal.

The only thing that would have made that better is if he’d been trying to pass it to Gutsless and it had gone between his legs.

Even though it is Corey Perry, I still feel a little bad for him. That’s such a frustrating thing to do, and then to have everyone laughing at you.
(But only a very little bad. Mostly it’s hilarious.)

Did he just walk off after the goal? Was he hurt or get a penalty. Kind of weird if he just walked off to the locker room with time left in the game. Even if it’s a couple of seconds, win as a team - lose as a team. No ?

People are giving Hall crap for the choke gesture? So it’s ok for us to poke fun at Perry but not Hall b/c…why?
It wasn’t a blatant gesture and it was the kind of needling that happens all game long in any sport. To get upset at Hall over this is just silly.
