And that’s why the instigator rule should be tossed. Guy breaks his stick over a guys ribs and really doesn’t expect to get immediate payback. Can’t believe I’m going to say this, but good for Chara.

Could have been avoided if the ref, who was staring right at the play, had called Emelin for the amazingly obvious center ice cross-check.

EXACTLY Hoot.
Either take out instigator, or make the Ref’s start doing their job.
