the Coyotes thought they had won at 2:47 of overtime on a shot from defenseman Michael Stone on the power play. But the goal was immediately waved off and after video review, it was decided Boedker interfered with Dubnyk before the puck crossed the goal line....

“It is what it is,” Tippett said. “The frustrating thing for coaches and everybody is the inconsistency with it. That’s something at some point that’s going to have to be addressed.”

The Coyotes did win 2-1 in the shootout.
