Video- Would You Have Called Incidental Contact On Gaborik?

Marian Gaborik was called for incidental contact (attention NHL, fix the referee microphone issue).  The Kings lost 2-1 to the Ducks.

Looks like contact to me.  He certainly wasn’t pushed in.  And if they traded for Gaborik to use him as net front presence, they wasted their assets and time.

Silfverberg was riding him had a hand on him looks like a good goal to me. Got to play it smarter than that.  Wouldn’t like it if it were my team but, I think it’s the right call. I don’t want to see that a reviewable call.

It was a good goal. Kings robbed just as they were at Detroit.  Gabby was, at bare minimum, influenced into the net by Silfverberg.

If a defender can drive a forward into the goaltender to cancel out a goal…
