Video- This Is The Rick Nash I Know

This is the Rick Nash I know, driving to the net, using his body to keep defenders away.

I do believe I saw a bit of this in game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final but will he build upon that game and continue to take the puck to the net or will he make a half circle and then head to the boards?

The Rangers need the Rick Nash of old tonight!

I’d say that the only problem with Rick Nash becoming the player that you know is that the Kings are not giving him the room to make those moves and plays. Instead, he’s resorted to diving to gain an advantage to increase his space on the ice. Not a bad strategy, but when the entire team starts believing that diving is a viable strategy (i.e., Lundqvist’s embarrassing flop on Carter’s hack), then they’re in real trouble. Then they just become the Canucks under Vigneault. Coincidence? hmmmm ...
