Shawn Thornton shows his ass, just like Avery when he did his marching band routine in front of Marty Brodeur.. This becomes one of the situations that the league didn’t even think it might ever have to enforce ever, but the mighty Bruins - knowing that the crotch-spearing may be watched closely from now on - still find a way to act like *#$%@& children.

What a jackass. Hopefully that will turn out to be a very expensive shot of water.

I think any player on the bench affecting the game on the ice, over the boards .... sticking out their stick, grabbing a player, squirting water, or spitting…. should be a one-game automatic. It’s ridiculous for a pro athlete to behave that way…. It’s all fun and games until Boston scores a goal when Subban loses track of the puck. Can you imagine the controversy if Boston won off a goal like that?
