I wonder if words for the linesman went along with this tap?
added 11:42am, Ennis talked about the incident this morning..
via John Vogl of the Buffalo News,
"I was a little frustrated," the Sabres center said this morning in First Niagara Center. "I just went to go talk to the linesman and tap him on the bum lightly, but I think I got his hand a little bit. He was a little upset, so I apologized after the game to him and the referees. Kinda just said I shouldn’t take my frustrations out on them. They’re just doing their job."
Ennis said something to Nansen while he skated away, but he claims he did not swear. Ennis received a game misconduct and is subject to a suspension. Has the NHL contacted him?
"Uh, yeah ... no," Ennis said.
