Video- Ryan O’Reilly Out Next Game After Injuring Shoulder During A Goal Celebration

via Adrian Dater of All Things Avs,

Ryan O’Reilly might miss Thursday’s game against Ottawa because of a bizarre shoulder injury he suffered in celebrating a goal Tuesday night.

O’Reilly hurt his left shoulder while celebrating the Avs’ third goal, by Paul Stastny. Essentially, he got it jammed while extending his left arm into the group hug. The Avs say he is day-to-day, so we’ll see tomorrow if he plays or not against Ottawa

Not nearly as bad as Radulov jump into face celebration after goal that concussed Arnott years ago, yikes.

At what point do we start questioning Roy’s coaching abilities, when his players are getting injured from goal celebrations?

Yeah, that’s aimed at you, Dater, you tool

I was going to question it in the same manner until I actually watched it.  He did basically nothing and hurt himself.  It wasn’t a showy thing at all; he failed to properly execute the group hug.

I hope Roy doesn’t coach his players on group hugs.
