It was no goal, but since it’s Pittsburgh I knew it would be called a good goal. Why waste time reviewing it since it’s Pittsburgh. cool mad

What’s “the war rum”?

Could Price have flipped or swung part of his body around?

Did he even see the puck?

It wasn’t moving that fast and I kind of thought Price’s rep was
maybe he was a guy who could recover and get something in front of the puck.

But it’s impossible to know because Malkin is already pushing him into the net
before he has a chance. Maybe a player has the right to go for a loose puck.
But it’s ridiculous, to me anyway, that an offensive player, in going for a puck
can completely prevent a goalie from playing his position inside his own crease
- and literally give him no chance to stop that loose puck.

Also, it’s the Penguins.

“Upon further review, we love the Penguins….  oh, and it’s a good goal!”

I thought this was about as easy of a no goal call we were gonna see.  Must have looked at the flow chart and saw they jobbed the Pens in Toronto and against Dallas and put it through the magic 8 ball, flipped a coin three times, and wuddaya know.  Good goal.

When I read the headline I thought, “No matter what happened, they called that a goal”.
Was not disappointed.
