Why in the f*** is this guy employed by an NHL team?...as useless a player as I’ve seen. Good on the official for throwing him out immediately.

This looks like the status quo for Philly.  Nothing to see here.

One of these days a guy will jump a guy like that, and a teammate will immediately retaliate with repeated two-handed slashes to the head/face.

I’m almost at the point where I’m hoping for that so maybe this nonsense stops.  Because for guys like Rinaldo there *IS* no penalty the league can give him that will make him stop.  He literally needs his own well-being threatened.  He literally needs someone to f**k him up real badly.

Absolutely agree, Primis. If I were a player and got jumped by a piece of trash like him, I would go berserk and probably try to kill him. The amount of shit that is allowed to go on in the game today is insane. The lack of respect that ass has for anyone else shouldn’t be allowed.

I want to know what sort of chirping Roussel was doing to make Rinaldo lose his mind like that. Pretty impressive. Also got to say thumbs up to the refs for kicking RInaldo straight out of the game, barely over one minute into it.

Maltby was excellent at this…

All that said I agree with Primis; Shanahan isn’t stopping this, so someone needs to go all Kessel on someone’s face.

I have been told the reason the old chain link on top of the boards was replaced is that one G. Howe got upset with someone for gooning a Red Wing.  He hooked the guy’s head under his arm and skated the guy along the chain link with his face dragging on the fence.

He also broke Lou Fontanato’s skull over a dirty hit.  Rules against dirty hits were not really needed with Howe on your team.

Rinaldo doesn’t have a mind or a brain, so… who knows.  Rinaldo is a repeat offender pyschopath, honestly.

Turns out Ken Campbell covered it this morning … Thornton, Rinaldo and Neal the latest to embarrass the NHL with their antics

Rinaldo had four seconds of ice time on Saturday, which, given his skill level, is exactly four seconds more than he deserves … But he made the most of it, you bet. In that time span he left the bench, chased down Roussel and laid a one-sided pummelling on the Dallas Stars forward, presumably because Roussel taunted the crowd after scoring a goal on a penalty shot against Chicago Tuesday night. But you know the NHL. If anyone deserves to be beaten up, it’s a guy who taunts the crowd.

I mean, that doesn’t even make sense. Rinaldo took exception to Roussel because he taunted the fans in Chicago?
