Total BS call, and it might keep Columbus out of the playoffs. The official clearly called it GOAL. BS.

Waived goal under curious circumstance, a 55 second 5 on 3 for something the ref heard on the Colorado bench and the wild are in. Total BS.

Tonight I wish the site had a decent blogger for the dive. I only watched the 3rd but was pretty annoyed by the tilted ice.

I’m 100% confident, with all the missed calls, year after year after year… bad calls.. never even considering video review until recently, reluctantly, while trying to act like it’s such a difficult thing to do.  All the resistance, makes me feel like the NHL likes having a human influence to influence games.  Who do you think pulls bigger ratings for hockey, Minny or Cbus?  Just saying.  That ONE GUY DETERMINED THE PLAYOFF SEATING THIS YEAR.

from Adrian Dater of All Things Avs,

I emailed Mike Murphy, the NHL’s senior VP for hockey operations, who often works in the video room in Toronto, and this is what he said about the situation:

“The call from the ice that was given to us on the headsets was NO GOAL…..Watson pointed to signal that the puck was IN the net….he then consulted with the other Officials on the ice and the consensus among the Officials on the ice was that the puck was kicked into the net therefore the call on the ice was NO GOAL….we reviewed the play and determined that Kobasew’s right skate kicked the puck into the net thus agreeing with the call made on the ice.”
