Remember Kucherov is also the guy who concussed
Markus Nutivaara with a totally gratuitous spite and anger (we’re the Lightning - we’re not supposed to be losing!!) hit in the dying seconds of the game, driving his head into the boards when Nutivaara was in a vulnerable position.

Kucherov got one game.

Nutivaara remained out due to that concussion and by the next round
the Blue Jackets were left playing their 7-9th defensemen as regulars against Boston.

This guy should be known as a choker and cheapshot artist as much
as for the regular season point totals he put up last year.

I don’t miss staged fights or dangerous line brawls and I don’t think
players should have to take on a mismatch after a clean check.

Kucherov? Someone on Buffalo should have gone after him and bloodied his face
for pointlessly hurting their teammate. But Tampa has a tough lineup this season,
so they’ll get away with it.
