Video- Nick Ritchie Fined For Roughing

NEW YORK (October 17, 2019) – Anaheim Ducks forward Nick Ritchie has been fined $4,121.86, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for roughing Buffalo Sabres forward Vladimir Sobotka during NHL Game No. 96 in Anaheim on Wednesday, Oct. 16, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 15:57 of the second period. Ritchie was assessed two minor penalties for roughing.
The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.

Imagine if every guy in a scrum or who ended up on the ice
took a couple hard swings at a defenseless opponent when the officials were in between.
What is it about Anaheim?
Perry is gone, Kessler is all but gone, Randy Carlyle is gone…and they still
stoop to this stuff.
