Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun is has an example.

Oil, in today’s world pro athletes are always under the microscope. This happened in May….I’m not that naive that this is just coming to light in TO.

This happened in May in Arizona. Its such a small “crime” that they either were trying to let it pass or that legitimately no one in AZ even knew who this guy is.

I enjoy the conspiracy theories, but this is a huge pile of nothing and isn’t surprising in the least that nobody knew about it.

I’m not that naive that this is just coming to light in TO.

Why does it take naivety to believe that a 22-year old decided to hide from his employer the fact that he got in trouble while drunk?

I don’t know I agree that this is nothing. At the least it’s criminal trespass and probably assault as well.

The first thing to came to my mind is Matthews should be thankful he wasn’t shot.

Others have not been so lucky in the same type of situation.

Definitely not assault in any form.  No one touched anyone with anything.  Can’t charge for visual assault.

And it is, a big, steaming pile of nothing but drama queens never miss an opportunity in this reality TV world we live in now.

Three large drunk men repeatedly tried to get in a woman’s car with her in it at 2am. If I was her or anyone who knew her, I’d report that shite as assault in a heartbeat.

According to the police report obtained by ESPN, the incident occurred May 26 at 2 a.m. local time. A female security guard was sitting inside her car outside the condo building where Matthews lives when she was disturbed by the sound of someone trying to open her door. She allegedly got out of her car and confronted Matthews, who she said was intoxicated.

As Matthews walked away, he “pulled his pants down, bent over and grabbed his butt cheeks,” though he kept on his underwear, the woman told police.

She was so terrified by these “three large drunk men repeatedly” trying to get into her car that she got out and confronted them? Seems like she would have drove off or even called for backup if it was viewed as a legitimate threat to her safety. Then he mooned her WITH HIS UNDERWEAR STILL ON.

Clutch your pearls all you want, it doesn’t change the actual events of the night.
