via the YouTube channel of Sportsnet,
The officials didn't like how Nazem Kadri went down after he drew the ire of the Flames after landing a massive hit on Johnny Gaudreau that put the Flames star on his rear and issued him an embellishment penalty for his troubles.

I wouldn’t say Kadri turtled. He was already down from that ridiculous, blatant dive, how was he supposed to defend himself?

Lol clean hit but Jesus Kadri! If you’re gonna run at people you’re gonna have to face your comeuppance as well.

Massive hit? Good lord, if that’s a massive hit, then I’m older than I thought I was. To me, that was a good solid check, no head contact, not boarding. I really hate how a clean bodycheck immediately requires a fight nowadays. I see it time and time again.
As for the embellishment, I’m not so sure on that. He did get slashed in the back of the knee by Gaudreau (probably a response to the errant stick to the face after the check). Not a whole lot of padding there, is there?
