Video- John Hayden Fined For A Cross Check

NEW YORK (Feb. 26, 2020) – New Jersey Devils forward John Hayden has been fined $2,016.13, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for cross-checking Detroit Red Wings forward Tyler Bertuzzi during NHL Game No. 975 in Detroit on Tuesday, Feb. 25, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 19:14 of the third period. Hayden was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for cross-checking.
