Video- How Many Games For Rich Clune For This Hit On Artem Anisimov?

Clune received 5 for interference, a 20 and game misconduct.

Didn’t look like he left his feet to target the head and he looks significantly shorter than anisimov. I don’t know where the cut came from. From hitting the ice? I think the follow through with the arm was just that, a follow through.com not a punch or elbow. Doors he automatically get a whole game for being ejected? Under the rules I don’t think this warrants a suspension. I think he ought to get at least5 to try to teach guys to not do that to each other.

According to the league, Clune hit Anisimov .45 seconds after release of the puck, which was not late enough for supplemental discipline. The league also said the hit itself was legal.
