Only had access to radio broadcast, but after Paul put up the highlights, I noticed that Lack got hit in the head by his own man on the Tatar goal. Then of course on the game winner he got a another hit to the head. I believe the two combined hits may have been a concussion. He was moving his legs after the hit, so thankfully it doesn’t appear to be a paralysis type of injury, but I don’t expect him to be playing anytime soon.

The view that NBCSN used showed that Victor Rask hit Athanasiou at an angle that propelled him directly into the top of Lack’s helmet.  His head was driven downward.  This was an unavoidable contact as Rask was trying in a last gasp attempt to prevent the goal.  The look on the faces of both teams showed the level of concern about the situation.
