I saw it and thought the exact same thing Paul. Clean hit but classic Stevens style. Great comparison.

It’s just really funny to me, listening to the talking heads talk that phaneuf hit was “dangerous” and “targeted”. 20 years ago Stevens was a “warrior” and had “leadership”. How times have changed

Pretty sure if the teams were reversed, the hit in question would have been “amazing”.
I don’t take anything the NBC folks say seriously.

That’s why I watch CBC. I don’t have listen to Eddie Olsuck drool over Cindy.
