Reminds me of the Smith on Smith hit a bit.  He tries to cut in last minute but dude went high on him anyway, I don’t know if the head wouldn’t have been the point of contact regardless..

However…

His smiling about it afterwards while the guy is still unconscious being tended to on the ice is classless.  He was happy he put the guy to sleep.  Glad he’s gone, the sport doesn’t need shits like that.

Guilty as well and I agree HTO. I thought it was a weird hit. He made a nice move around him, but he was exposed. Thrower tried for the hit so he had to go with him and sadly he hit his head. It was a good move but he was left open, and a physical d-man would try to make contact on that move. Originally didn’t look dirty, but I did not like that smirk after. Maybe a teammate cracked a joke or something? Anyway, shouldn’t be smiling.
