Wings had a lot of great battles with Trotz.  Congrats on a great career in NSH, Trotz.  Here’s hoping you stay in the Western Conference.

Barry Trotz is a great man, and a great coach.  His teams really battled the Wings all these years.

Hell of a coach. Just needed a couple more pieces.. then again, so does every other team that didn’t make the playoffs.

Good luck, Barry. I did not like the Preds much but I respected your effort and the fine job you did as a coach there.

I always thought Trotz was the second best coach in the NHL next to Mike Babcock. Watch out if he coaches a team with some talent.

What remains unsaid is how Nashville has always had huge money problems and could not keep many of its best players. 
So naturally, management blamed the coach.
