And therein lies the reason why Mike Babcock has no desire to coach the Leafs: they are an organization passionately in love with numbers and analytics, so much so they robbed the Soo Greyhounds of an analytical wunderkind.
Holland’s old school, Babs is old school. The current obsession over numbers in the league just cemented Mike Babcock in Hockeytown for another three years.
